The Happy Bandana Gives Back

 

Initiative Overview

The Happy Bandana Cause Marketing Initiative is a community-centered fundraising platform that empowers local nonprofits by integrating charitable giving into everyday home care and property services. By leveraging the power of collaboration, co-branded marketing, and trust-based relationships, we’ve created a sustainable, scalable model that provides long-term support to nonprofits while offering donors a way to give back through services they already need.


Objective

To support nonprofits in Solano County and beyond through a cause marketing platform that generates ongoing fundraising via The Happy Bandana’s core services and extended partner network.


Who It Serves

  • Registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. 
  • Community-driven initiatives aligned with our values of care, dignity, and impact. 
  • Donors and clients seeking value-aligned service providers.
     

How It Works:


1. Partnership Setup

  • The Happy Bandana creates a dedicated landing page on our website for each nonprofit participant. 
  • Each nonprofit receives a unique promo code for their donors and supporters to use when booking any of our services.
     

2. Revenue Sharing

  • When the promo code is applied during checkout or service booking, 10% of the total purchase is donated directly to the nonprofit for the lifetime of the client.
  • Payments to the nonprofit will be disbursed on a monthly basis with full transparency and reporting.
     

3. Mutual Promotion

  • Nonprofit partners agree to promote their unique code and partnership through their newsletters, website, email campaigns, social media, and events. 
  • The Happy Bandana promotes the partnership via: 
    • Email
    • Website
    • Partner Collective newsletters 
    • Social media campaigns 
    • Local press outreach

Donation Policy

Sustainable Giving with Impact

Our priority is to support nonprofits consistently and sustainably. The cause marketing initiative allows us to give more over time by tying donations to real client interactions and service fulfillment.


Auction and Event Requests

While our core program is focused on long-term revenue-sharing, we are open to reviewing requests for:

  • Auction item donations 
  • Event sponsorships 
  • In-kind services for special projects
     

Requests are considered on a case-by-case basis and must align with our community impact values.
